After completing the deals of Raheem Sterling and central defender, Kalidou Koulibaly in past week’s, Chelsea are closing in on the French international, Jules Kounde from Sevilla , for a fee of €50m plus bonuses.

Chelsea are in pole position to secure the young defender signature, who had always prefer a move to the Catalonia side, FC Barcelona. Just recently, there were rumours claiming Kounde had agreed personal term’s with Barcelona and also closing in on the main transfer fee with Sevilla for the player. Now the table changed and Chelsea are feeling optimistic about completing the deal for the France international.

There is been a positive response from new Chelsea owner, Todd Boehly. Having lost two of their central defender, Andrea’s Christensen and Antonio Rudiger, Boehly has been in charge of the transfers and negotiations. Boehly and Tuchel had made the centre back and attacking positions as a priority this summer, with this there is been some incomings, Raheem Sterling moving to the Blue side of London from Manchester City and Kalidou Koulibaly moving to Chelsea from SSC Napoli, not forgetting the speculations linking Presnell Kimpembe to Chelsea also.
